Tasty food is essential for personal wellbeing. That’s why the cuisine is so important at the Gorfion. Head chef Michael Spirk will be responsible for your culinary enjoyment from summer 2017.
His professional career has taken him around half of the world – even to high sea, as chef de partie on the MS Europa. Born in Styria, he indulges our guests with his creative, new-austrian style, mixing tradition with cosmopolitan modernism.
As a family hotel, we not only want to impress our grown-up guests with our exquisite haute cuisine. Also, our younger guests will be catered for. Sophisticated multi-course menus and special kid’s meals – does that go together? “One thing does not exclude the other”, says Michael Spirk. “Everyone should get what their heart desires – prepared with regional products and seasonal ingredients, from breakfast in the morning to dinner in the evening, for the grown-ups and children alike.”
Michael Spirk, the patissier Christine Schimpf and their kitchen crew are looking forward to welcome you; either in the cozy “Malbuner Stube”, on the terrace with magnificent view of the Liechtenstein mountains or at the fireside lounge.
